Sony Ericsson enters social media arena

 

LONDON - Sony Ericsson has developed a social media strategy in an attempt to manage its online brand reputation.

The mobile phone company has appointed social media and public relations specialist Wolfstar to offer advice on its global social media strategy.

A worldwide campaign, due to launch imminently, will include online monitoring and evaluation of Sony Ericsson's online brand reputation, as well as establishing relationships with online customers and influencers.

Wolfstar will assist Sony Ericsson in developing additional social media initiatives to support the brand and its range of products.

The account will be led by Wolfstar managing director Stuart Bruce.
