Linked In, the professional social network has appointed Henry Clifford-Jones as director of European media sales.
Clifford-Jones will drive media sales and establish Linked In's targeting advertising platform across the European market.
The appointment reflects the huge increase in European members joining the professional network. More than five million members are from Europe compared with one million members in the UK.
A former European general manager for Intext and video advertising firm Vibrant Media, Clifford-Jones will help build relationships with agencies and clients.
"His years of experience in managing and leading rapid growth digital advertising businesses in invaluable to our ambitious growth plans," said Linked In European managing director Kevin Eyres.
